Vrundavan

A carefully composed home — where daylight, material, and volume shape an atmosphere of quiet grace.

Vadodara 2025 Architecture & Interior 11,000 sq.ft.

Vrundavan is conceived as a home that breathes. Generous volumes are arranged around a central courtyard — the heart of the house — allowing light and air to reach every corner. This Vadodara residence by DF Architects is designed for a family that values openness and connection.

The architecture draws from local building traditions while embracing contemporary spatial planning. Materials are chosen for their tactility and authenticity: natural stone, warm wood, and textured finishes create a layered, sensory environment. Each room opens onto the courtyard or a terrace, ensuring constant visual and physical connection to nature.

The spatial experience is one of calm and generosity. From the entrance sequence to the intimate family spaces, every detail has been considered to enhance the quality of daily life. The design incorporates passive cooling principles, with cross-ventilation and shaded overhangs that respond to the climate of Gujarat. The project represents a thoughtful approach to residential architecture — where climate-responsive design, material integrity, and spatial richness come together to create a home that is both beautiful and functional.
